In the event of a major SHTF no matter how much rice you have stored, you will want a little variety! Noodles are a large part of a number of different menu items in almost every culture. If that time should come, other than what we have stored, we will all be making everything from scratch and the more scratch cooking we know how to do the better we will eat and the more we might be able to barter to those without those skills.

Never mind that making our own noodles from scratch is satisfying to accomplish, they simply taste better than the store bought processed packaged noodles. With the featured recipe today, you won’t even need a pasta machine. You can make them as thick as you like and as thin as you are able to by hand. (They will be thicker than store bought unless you are really really good at this!) They do take some time and effort but to my taste buds are well worth the effort!
