Now and again we will show you new products that are being developed through crowd funding. This is one of those products. It was successfully funded and is now on the market. Congratulations to those developers.
This is a truly awesome night light product. It’s light censored so there are no on or off switches to worry about and insures it is on when needed. Guidelights mean no stumbling in the dark searching for the switch nor turning on an overhead light when being stealth. This is useful if others are sleeping (especially a child). Or you don’t want to alert an intruder/peeking tom where you are within the house. It is not so bright as to be disturbing nor use tons of power to operate. So, when you hear that bump in the night, go investigate without waking everyone else nor lighting up the entire house!
The only way I feel they could make this product easier to install is to come and do it for you! It’s as easy as changing the switch plate. The only design flaw I see is that it doesn’t store the power and come on when the power fails. Like this one: Emergency Automatic Power Failure Outage Rechargeable 13 LED Light lamp Bulb Plug In which I actually own and love.
As with all new products the major downfall is the price is (in my opinion). Until a product becomes main streamed the price is always a bit on the high side. As always, I dug around a bit looking for a cheaper price and was unsuccessful. Amazon’s price is about $10.00 higher for a package of 5.
