40 Prepper Movies

Some people don’t like disaster movies and feel there is nothing to be gained from fiction. I personally disagree. I feel that if a question, hypothetical scenario, or movie plot can make you think. Then it is worth your time. Your mind is your greatest asset in a survival situation.
Face it no matter how many scary slasher movies we have seen, when your alone in the dark and hear a noise…. how many of us still call out “Who is there?” Like a mass murderer is going to answer us with ” Oh, no worries. It’s just me the killer your imagination has always been fearful of!” We always hope we will be, and are relieved when we are answered by a family member or a friend who is suppose to be there!
Nothing gets our creative “what if” minds going like a good prepper movie. Some of them are down right silly and for entertainment purposes only. Others raise some good questions for us to talk and think about within our families or groups. It engages critical thinking and gives us the satisfaction of knowing we wouldn’t ever do what they are doing or that their doing something that could work when you think about it. All while giving us a fantasy break from our daily lives.
Some are worth the watch, others well not so much! Organic Prepper has put together a list of 40 prepper movies for your next movie night. They are not in any particular order. I have seen a few of them myself and enjoyed them…. others I was so glad I hadn’t spent anything to see! Check them out linked below
