In recent times across the world there have been a number of mass casualty incidents. From mass shootings, to nature’s wrath we have seen these tragedies play out around us. We see the aftermath of police, national guards, EMTs and other first responders rushing to the aid the victims splash across our television screens and read blow by blow news coverage about the event running through our news feeds via social media.

But what if we are on the scene prior to help arriving or worse yet, what if a time comes when help isn’t going to come? In those scenarios we are the first responders. Would you know what to do? Who needs your help first, who can you only console and make comfortable and who is able to wait until others have been treated?
