Commercial Canned Goods a Rip Off?

Vey very few of us don’t have a single commercially canned product of sort in our cupboards. Most homesteaders and preppers prefer home canned goods from their own gardens and to supplement with commercially processed items that either we are short of or can’t be grown in our location. In urban pantries you might expect to find the bulk of food stored and in rotation to be store bought. Are you getting what you paid for when making these purchases? How many of us have actually weighted the can once home or weighted the contents independent of the container?
