I know the idea of eating certain critters seems really far out there. I admit I agree. I can’t stomach the idea of eating bugs, rats, or even woodchucks. But I also understand that when you are hungry and worse yet when your family is starving, you do what you need to do. At that point it stops being about that you are accustomed to or what you thought you couldn’t do and becomes about making the unusual palatable for survival.
