Cuba has been isolated from the technological advances of the rest of the world. So Cuban’s have had to make due with the resources available to them. Almost like a permanent communication disruption would affect the western world with each person and country working independently of the knowledge shared by the rest of the world. Some of their DIY inventions are quite clever.
