Statistically the majority of the population is not ready for any disaster lasting over 72 hours! Not that most are actually prepared for the 72 hours but can hold out that long before the fear and desperation factors begin to set in. Once they bulk of those effected realize that the power isn’t coming back on tomorrow or maybe not for months if ever again in their life times… once they realize the water they are accustom to turning a tap on to have delivered safe and cool isn’t flowing again any time soon and they must find another source. This is the time the real disaster sets in!

The Prepper Journal article linked below explains the progression and why working together to educate and prepare our population one neighbor, friend, family member etc. at a time is so important to all of us.
