With some research on types of bees and the right materials even if you live in an urban area you can have your own beehive and home canned honey! Nature’s own sweetness and one of the most common ingredients in home remedies, unlimited honey would be nice for now and in a SHTF scenario priceless.

Honey can replace sugar in many recipes and be a huge health aid with it’s soothing qualities. The only cautions of course is being equipped to work around bees safely, so don’t scrimp on protective clothing and remember children under the age of 2 should never be given honey. Their digestive systems are not mature enough to cope with the natural bacteria found in honey which can cause botulism in young children.
