I admit being torn by this new form of farming. I am grateful that old factories are no longer spewing toxic chemicals into our air and that those de-funked factories are once again employing workers across the world. It is also uplifting to see that more effort is being made to produce enough food to feed the world rather than the haves and the have nots.

However, with anything relatively new there are concerns with the ramifications of massive indoor farming, does the lack of real sunlight and the use of “imitation sun light” change the chemical makeup of the food? Are the crops produced in the indoor farm GMO? or will they be to produce more and bigger? What do you think? Read the article at the link below then come on back and tell us your opinion!
