A penny saved is a penny earned. This old saying has never been truer than in today’s economy. Today frugality is a positive trait. Even if you aren’t homesteading, prepping or particularly interested in a sustainable lifestyle. I am unaware of when living frugally stopped being the norm for many people though of course there are always folks who spend without thought. I just have never been one of them. I am always interested in ways to save money, especially if I can do so without giving up any of the things that are important to my life choices. I found those tips to be wise and not so hard to do within my budget. I am however someone who has always tried to live frugally not just for financial reasons but because to me waste not want not isn’t just another old saying. It is factual. I admit that I can do better but find that some of the frugal tips and ideas are over the top for even me! Knowing this lead me to this article to see if I was indeed in that fraction of folks that are a little more than frugal.
