Getting Your Family to Prep

One of the complaints I hear most often from preppers is that their families don’t understand the need to prepare. The question I see most often on prepping sites is how do I get my family to get with the preparation program? Many feel they are seen by their friends and family as obsessive, paranoid, or just plain downers. I too have adult family members who until recently didn’t understand either. Now they are playing catch up but still don’t understand that it is a self reliant lifestyle not a once a year check and replacement of expired supplies! But it’s progress!

Preppers live by the creed of hope for the best and prepare for the worst. They are some of the most self reliant, self sufficient, up beat, giving and creative people I know. But when a prepper tells you… prepare and don’t show up on my door step after the fact, they mean it! So how do you get your family to join you in your preparation plans?

The Organized Prepper has some ideas on how to do that at the link below
