Some of you may know that this past year I had a couple of serious Health issues It really killed my gardening for this last year. My kids are not great gardeners although they do know the basics and my health just wasn’t up to the job this year. So I did a very small garden with some basic easy to grow items only. BUT I have become fascinated with growing outdoor plants indoors. I just transplanted my first pineapple plant to a larger container because it out grew the original pot. It is a beauty! and not usually found in our climate  I also have two avocado plants sprouting which I just put into pots. (if you would like to try one for yourself you can find the instructions here >> 16 Foods You Can Regrow From Scraps! ) We ate the celery I regrew from scraps! However, my cherry pits are currently in the refrigerator simulating winter so that I can sprout them soon. To try that see >>  Planting Cherry Pits

Now pineapples, avocados, and cherries are not native to my climate. But apples are! Perhaps I shall start a small orchard next year as I rebuild my eatable garden! To see a step by step tutorial on starting your own apple trees from an apple, check out the link below
