Often times its interesting to see the new technology that is coming our way. This particular device the goTenna Mesh refreshingly takes current technology and adds old world methods to make it work.
I doubt that people will flock to this device in today’s world. Because it requires a human relay system which would stymie the system if the person you are trying to contact didn’t also have the device and a network to relay. But come a SHTF grid down scenario these could be priceless! Even in natural disasters today, especially where normal cell service is unavailable.
