There is a saying that says something to the effect that your rear view mirror is smaller than your wind shield because you are going forward not backward and so that is the landscape you should be viewing.  I don’t honestly care much for looking back…perhaps I have made too many mistakes in my life! But there are times when you must and should look back to see just how far you have come!

If you don’t recognize how much you have learned over the years you would miss the opportunity to pat yourself on the back and if you never look back to learn from your mistakes you are bound to repeat them!
