(link + video) Now this is one of those wow items! I saw this video and just had to find out more about them and when I did I knew I had to share that with you! I think they rate as one of the best survival, camping, backpacking, hunting, outdoorsy things out there since the invention of the emergency mylar thermal blankets or the life straw! I am always looking for lite weight duel purpose items for my get home bag, auto emergency kit, or bug out bag. I want to take everything including the kitchen sink, because I might just need it depending on the scenario! However, I am no more capable of carrying all that weight than are most people.

This item can replace an emergency flasher or beacon, is better than a flashlight which doesn’t float and requires new batteries frequently when in use, and can go 16 hours on a single charge. Add that it folds down to a neat little 5″x3″ and weighs only 2.9 ounces and will fit in just about everyone’s emergency kit and I am sold!
