Now this is just pure genius… this alternative light bulb would work well in smaller rooms, sheds, cabins places like that. You can’t just fill a bottle with water and expect this to produce 55 watts equivalent of light. You have to mix a solution to put into a soda bottle.

I  would use bigger bottles and get more light. The only problem I see with this method is making it water tight …Might be a good crisis skill for a long term grid down situation. I personally feel it might be a safer alternative to fire!
