Lots of people for a number of reasons can’t or don’t want to own a traditional handgun. It may be morally offensive to you, it may be illegal in your location/country, you may have a felony conviction, have someone in your home who could be a danger to themselves, or even just have small children in your home who you are unwilling to take the chance may come in contact with it. You still want and need home security. You just want a less lethal or a legal alternative to a handgun.
This may be an answer for a number of those reasons. It was developed by a couple with just those concerns. They began on Indiegogo seeking funding for the product but it was pulled by the site due to it’s comparability to a lethal handgun. At the time the featured article came out introducing this product it was not yet available for purchase. From my understanding, it is now and runs about $350.00 for the starter package.
