Off-Grid Community Discovered in the Appalachian Mountains

The video below depicts a small off grid community currently residing in the Appalachian mountains. The life style they have chosen reminds me of how I tend to envision a post SHTF group living without the SHTF event. Other communities living off grid have chosen to be self sufficient in creating solar and or water power etc.. this group has chosen to forgo those comforts and build their community based on a less sophisticated way of life foraging and hunting with the occasional jog into town for some supplies and news of the outside world. I see it as a really prolonged camping trip!
