Who knew Ikea had off grid items? First the flat pack vertical garden and now this awesome off grid solar powered tiny house or shelter.

My own plan for temporary shelter after a localized event has been tents on my own property while we repaired any structural damage to my home. But this would be not only taking it up a notch but it will hold together under average conditions triple the time of a tent prior to needing repairs. Now my tents were all purchased on sale and intended for only a couple of people each but if you have purchased a larger tent intended to hold a family you know what a good deal this is for the price!
