Preparing for Baby

One thing is certain, the cycle of life will continue. The old will pass away and new life will be born, SHTF or not!

If you have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or even great-grandchildren preparing for them is a bit more complicated than a simple bug out bag! They have different nutritional needs, can’t walk as long as an adult, need more sleep, don’t understand what is happening nor the need for Opsec, never mind things like diapers, schooling, and just getting born!

Even if you don’t have children yourself the possibility of members of your group either being of childbearing age, expecting or already having babies is high.  You might not have the need to prep specifically for a particular child, but you should be aware of what is needed and how to do so if the situation calls for it. A parent’s responsibility doesn’t end with today but with preparing for an uncertain future for our children. Survival mom gives us some tips on preparing for a baby in a SHTF scenario.
