I am sure you all remember the attack on Ohio State University students on November 28th 2016. Eleven people were injured. This attack was not an active shooter however. This attacker chose to use a vehicle and knives as his weapons.

These stories are becoming all too frequent. Especially in our schools where we send our most precious citizens to receive an education, our children. Sadly it is frequently seen in work places across the country as well. It is believed in this particular case that many lives were saved and injuries avoided by a tweet sent out to OSU students, by law enforcement telling them what to do.

The ideal here is a reaction that is a bit different than if the attacker is armed with a firearm. See what actions and under which circumstances a national security expert recommends at the featured link below from Channel 19 News.
