It only makes sense to me if you can eat yourself sick you should be able eat yourself back into better health. No simple diet will prevent a disease. But a bad diet can aid an illness in taking over your body. Your body needs proper nutrition to fight off illness and it has been scientifically proven that some foods can help with certain illnesses.

The featured article of this post, deals with the terribly devastating illness of Alzheimer Disease. I watched an aunt slowly stop being the person we all knew and loved. She became someone we didn’t know and lost herself as the illness progressed. Horrific to watch and feel so helpless.

I am of course not a doctor and don’t have any medical training. But if there is anything that can assist with or slow this disease I am all for trying it! Never replace or use an herbal remedy or diet to replace or against your doctor’s advice. My concern is that eventually there will come a time when professional medical care is unavailable either due to a SHTF event or simply because it becomes financially unobtainable to the majority. We are all going to age. You can be healthy today, survive the initial crisis, and then become ill. Even if just hope can extend the time we have then adding a natural remedy at that point can’t hurt! See this combination of spices said to help with Alzheimer Disease at the link below
