One of the most common dilemmas for preppers is concern for their friends, family and community members who aren’t prepping. What will become of them if the worst should occur? Some of the hardcore preppers say “Ok, do as you wish. But don’t knock on my door when you’re in trouble.” Other’s feel more deeply about it and must say to themselves. ” I can’t see to the needs of everyone but at the same time I know I will find it difficult to turn folks away in a time of crisis.” No matter which way you feel about it, the fact remains there will be unprepared out there in the time of crisis. I strongly advocate education so that even if your friends and family don’t prep, they at least know what to do immediately after or during a crisis to begin looking after themselves. The featured link will help non-preppers in the event of crisis. You might want to pass it along to the nay-sayers to help them in the event of a SHTF scenario.

Or maybe you yourself are on the fence regarding prepping. Many folks assume that preparing for the worst indicates a belief in the worst. The truth is the majority of preppers are just like everyone else and hope for the best. We just prepare for the worst just in case. Doing so indicates a positive outlook because it assumes we will survive the crisis event!  With that said you may just want to take a look at the featured article yourself to reassure yourself that you too can survive the worst and how to do it if you have prepared. It will give you a starting point after disaster has struck.

What to do when the SHTF and you’re not a Prepper
