One of our best defenses in home protection is the family dog. I know mine will hear someone approaching long before I do. He also seems to sense members of our family’s emotional reaction to that approaching person. He will respond to a command to look ferocious and does a good job at it unless the person he is told to direct it toward doesn’t buy into the act and calls his bluff then he is a loving happy pup wagging his tail and pleased to have the attention. However, if he senses real fear from anyone in our household warranted or not, he will actually attack. This trait makes him a pretty good watch dog over all even if a bit unpredictable.

What if your dog just doesn’t get it? If he/she is always happy to have any attention from anyone? Many locations in various countries require that your dog be muzzled any time they are outside a fenced area whether on a leash or not. So why not make your lovable pet or local dog laws work for you as a security measure and make your lover appear to be a fighter?!

Check out this frightening muzzle at the featured link below. At this time, it is being sold by a Russian vender for the equivalent of about 30 USD or can occasionally be found on Ebay for the current varying bid. If you are really creative, it just might inspire you to make one yourself!

**Update these are now available for sale on amazon in a number of sizes and styles. see them here >> http://amzn.to/2rINaNQ
