Surviving Hostage Situations & Terrorist Attacks

Surviving Hostage Situations & Terrorist Attacks

Graphic: khaamacom

On November 13, (2015) members of the Islamic State killed 130 people in terror attacks in Paris, France, 89 of which were held hostage in a theater. A week later, Islamic gunmen took 170 hostages in a Mali hotel. Seeing situations like this in the news serves to remind us of the importance of preparedness. You need to know what to do in a situation like this, in case the unthinkable happens.

Quote from: Survival Life

The attacks mentioned in the above quote were not aimed at nor were the victims military, activists, protesters, world leaders, news reporters or even members of wealthy families with the hope of ransom for the perpetrators. They were average every day people just carrying on with their daily normal lives. Nothing warned them that this was the day that they would become victims. You never know when the day may come that you could be the person or among the people that are in the wrong spot at the wrong time. If we learned nothing else from the tragic events, we should have learned that anyone of us could be the one under attack today.

So with the violence so random and so extreme how do you avoid becoming a victim? Unless you are willing to lock yourself today, right now in a terror proof re-enforced massively protected bunker and quit living your life allowing the perpetrators of such crimes to imprison you with fear.  But there are things that you can do that will help you to save your own life in a hostage or terroristic situation while you go about your daily life. See what Survival Life recommends you try to save yourself if at all possible in the featured link below
