Things break and get dirty. It’s just a fact. There are lots of products to assist you in repairing or cleaning individual items. Although many of today’s goods are made to be intentionally obsolescent. If the manufacturers made things to last like they used to, well they would make only one or two sales per person per lifetime and wouldn’t be as profitable!

However, there are some things that are cheaper to fix or clean than to replace. So another way to maintain profits is to sell you a different tool and a different cleaner for each item. What happens if you don’t have the cash to pay for that special tool or cleaner? If you don’t want to replace the item nor spend a bundle to maintain it? Or there is a major SHTF event and the manufacturer is no longer in business, as a matter of fact if none of the producers of products are still producing?
