It may seem like a little thing to worry about in today’s world… who can see what is happening in your home. But during and after a SHTF event security measure will become very different than they are today. That your home is lighted at all can be something that risks your security. Never mind things like how many folks are in there, when do they do what, what do they have?

Those are the times when room darkening materials will become an urgent supply. Add heating and cooling concerns without regular power sources and they become invaluable. Which is the best for your situation? It seems like a small thing; my first thought was well anything dark! Those who lived during air raid black out times, will tell you thinking like that about this issue could get you and everyone around you killed!
