I like to think of myself as a relatively intelligent person, but it never ceases to amaze me the cleverness of the common thief. I would never have thought of some of the methods they use to rip off those of us who perform honest work for a living. If these creative obviously intelligent people would put half of that effort and creativity into an honest living they would be such an asset to society.

The first method we will talk about here is the use of an RFID reader to take your card information without having to even touch you or actually come within a few feet of you or your property. How it is done is demonstrated in the following video.

 

We can now prevent this type of thief from their cowardly way of stealing from us rather inexpensively by using either a store bought RFID blocking sleeve or wallet or by making one of our own. But of course as soon as the white hats develop a method of prevention, the black hats come up with yet another way of stealing the data! The next video shows us how they do it and more importantly the simple step we can take to stop them without having to make or buy anything! I know I have been a victim of credit card fraud and will be adding this step to my payment routine from today forward! I do not intend to be an easy victim for the crooks!!
