The world’s first two major seed banks
Maintaining the vault includes extreme security, cooperation among nations and tight controls to preserve each deposit for the possibility of a needed withdrawal. As individuals we can’t hope to replicate this huge under taking, but we can create a smaller scale less rare seed storage system of our own. Our purposes would be for less of a world wide disaster but equally important to our own survival.
There were scheduled deposits to be made in 2019 to the world vault. The last made in October. Learn more about the vault and deposit requirements at the link below
