Holiday meals are either a nightmare or a joy and rarely anything in-between. You either can’t wait to gather and break bread together or you dread it and wish you could find a suitable way out without creating more strife. There is an old saying that you should never talk about politics or religion at a family meal if you are looking forward to a peaceful dinning experience.
