DIY Cold Spring House – Off Grid Refrigeration

With this off grid project the key is as they say in real estate, location, location, location! If you live near naturally moving water like a creek or even a small river where controlling a water diversion is possible then a cold spring house is the obvious answer to off grid refrigeration.

My thinking is (I may be wrong here of course). You could be a bit further from the water source than you would normally want to be for a cold spring house. If you have the ability to divert and move the water on your own with something like a DIY Wind Powered Water Pump  or a solar powered pump. Not everyone can have a bug out location near a creek, currently lives near moving water and can bug in nor count on landing in a spot near the river etc.. when bugging out without a planned destination.
