Police officers and soldiers wear body armor when they are on duty in dangerous areas where gun fire is likely. The majority of us don’t expect to get shot at while at work. But it does indeed happen so much so that saying you “will go postal” is now legally considered a threat of work place violence. The term became popular in American slang due to the violent work place murders 1st committed by postal workers. Do preppers also need to have this bit of insurance for protection with the possibility of overall violence during or after a SHTF event?   If so what priority should a bullet proof vest have and why?
