Preppers deserve some vindication since the pandemic

Since the pandemic hit, non preppers have taken another look at our lifestyle. In the past we were often categorized as crazy tin hatters, extremists, far right nut jobs, leftist elitists, and fear mongers. But when the shelves went empty in the early days of COVID, the general public got the idea of why we prep.  We weren’t out risking our health to get basic supplies, we weren’t battling empty shelves, or panic buying. Because we paid attention to the past and realized that none of us are exempt the wrath of  mother nature.

I am proud of how well our community did in the early days and that many continue to do as the pandemic drags on. We continue to protect ourselves and educate the non prepper on how to do so for themselves. We were not greedy nor haughty and many shared not only advice, but supplies with those willing to learn. I agree we deserve vindication!
