All of us if we are wise, have a stockpile of necessities. Even if it is only a couple of extra cans of soup or a bag of flour. The majority reading this already know that more is required but we all started somewhere. As our British friends begin preparing for their country’s exit from the European Union some have fears that some of their favorite things will become over priced or unavailable all together when the country actually ends their participation in the union. Hence what is being called a Brexit box.

Not the usual necessary survival items, rather the luxury or comfort items that are made by the union.  Items you can live without but would rather not have to do so. Your favorite tea, soda, or shampoo. As preppers we know the value of comfort items. How many of us have thought ahead to days when perhaps those simple items could become a luxury?

The same could happen in a more personal SHTF event, like a job loss, an unexpected large expense or illness. So perhaps a Brexit box should be a standard poverty prepping item.
