This is a really neat DIY project that provides your backpack with solar power! It’s easy to make and works as well as one you might purchase for between 70 to 150  dollars. Making it yourself saves you money, allows you to stay connected with your small “gizmos” like cell phones even when miles from the nearest power source. Great for camping, grid down situations, hiking, hunting, and bugging out. You can be on your way and charging your items at the same time. In an emergency situation it could be the bump of power you need to signal for help, or call for assistance then it’s worth every nickel and any amount of time you put into it!
